How we handle errors

The correction policy

Trader Alternatives commits to publishing every correction to a piece of editorial in full, in public, at this URL. Three categories of error are handled differently:

Material errors — factual mistakes that change the reader's understanding of a verdict — are corrected within 48 hours of confirmation. The corrected article is updated, the corrections log records the original error and the corrected version, and a note is appended to the top of the article identifying that a substantive correction was made.

Pricing and product changes — price shifts, plan restructures, feature additions — are updated as we become aware of them, with the article's "updated" date reflecting the change. Where the update materially alters a verdict, the change is logged here in addition to being reflected in the article.

Typos, broken links, and copy errors are corrected silently and not logged.

To submit a correction, email corrections@traderalternatives.com. Include the URL, the specific claim you are contesting, and the source supporting the correct version. We respond within five business days to every submission, including the ones we decline.
